They are the sole organization granted by the US government to administer the Section 114 sound recording license. Since forming in 2003, they have paid over $10 Billion in distributions.

Challenge

  • SoundExchange had been using Salesforce for nearly 10 years and had been stuck in a state of only working on break-fixes. They were also still using Classic

  • Eigen X was brought in as a full-time support to handle Admin and Development tickets

  • We were also tasked with looking for improvements, developing a roadmap, and finding ways they could fully utilize their Salesforce contract

  • SoundExchange specifically wanted us to offer insight into moving to Lightning, Salesforce Shield, Marketing Cloud, and ways to optimize Service Cloud as they used that heavily

Solution

  • Began daily support on Admin and Development tasks

  • We were able to create a roadmap specifically designed for SoundExchange that included moving to Lightning, Salesforce Shield, optimizing Service Cloud, utilizing Einstein, and Marketing Cloud

  • Greatly improved their documentation process and overall organization performance

  • Began the process of implementing Salesforce Shield

Result

  • Demonstrated value of moving from Classic to Lightning and began the migration to Lightning process

  • SoundExchange’s sensitive information such as bank account numbers will now be protected via Salesforce Shield

  • Projects and enhancements are being completed instead of break-fixes. They are now more proactive when using Salesforce

  • Provided Roadmap for future business and ways to further enhance their Salesforce Integrations
