Challenge

  • All Contracts were done via Docusign for some departments and actual paper copies with an actual signature required using different templates across multiple departments.  ​

  • Needed a solution to standardize templates without having to make all departments access DocuSign directly.​

  • Allow for the system to dynamically pick the correct contract template​

  • Need to Provide insight to when the contract was opened and signed inside of salesforce ​

Solution

  • Installed and customized DocuSign for Salesforce inside their salesforce org. ​

  • Created all approved templates across multiple departments and standardized types of agreements for branding and legal​

  • Created a “Smart Send” button so DocuSign could dynamically pick the correct template and automatically merge all fields and send to the designated contact​

  • Embedded the DocuSign Lightning Web Component. ​

Result

  • Guiding Eyes was able to report on docusign captured information directly inside salesforce (i.e. signed date, release agreements, etc.)​

  • Also able to standardize Contracts to remove a step for legal to have to review and also ensure all up to date language and branding is on all agreements ​

  • Removed the need for Paper Contracts completely across multiple departments​

  • Consolidated information across 2 systems directly inside salesforce via the Embedded DocuSign Lightning Web Component​

  • Streamlined the contract process to just 1 button click from Guiding Eyes Employees ​

  • Created Automated Reminders for the signee so employees did not have to follow up.​
