Challenge

  • Complex pricing that requires bundling of products to accommodate different options and features ​

  • Xeal sought to automate Freight calculation to increase overall efficiency and create less manual work for users​

  • Xeal needed custom quote templates that would pull together standard and custom fields from the quote along with line columns and custom components​

  • Also required the ability to send out and sign quote documents from within Salesforce via Adobe Sign​

  • Needed Avatax integrated and connected to Salesforce so tax populates on Quote documents​

  • No current approval process set up for reps if they want to add certain discounts to line items on quote

Solution

  • Configured complicated product offerings easily by giving sales reps premade product With bundles, sales reps can create accurate quotes in record time.​​

  • Automated Freight calculation based on the shipping state, region, and quantity combination and displayed the Freight on the Quote without manual intervention.​​

  • Created multiple custom CPQ quote templates along with corresponding template content to push necessary data to quote document​

  • Integrated Avatax with Salesforce so users can send calculate tax on the quote with the click of a button​

  • Integrated Adobe Sign with Salesforce so users can send to clients directly from Salesforce for Signature​

  • Multi-step approval process created based on percentage of discount on line item on Quotes

Result

  • Complex pricing that requires bundling of products has now been simplified for the reps​

  • Ability to calculate freight costs with each Quote are now done automatically for the rep​

  • Reps can choose from three custom quote templates that will pull all the necessary data and line items from the quote and place onto document ​

  • Reps are now able to calculate tax on every quote with the click of a button based on shipping information on Account​

  • Reps are also now able to send out Quote Documents with a signature line added and once document is signed it’s added onto parent Opportunity on the Agreements related list​

  • Multi-step approval process now lets reps choose a discount percentage and submit for approval
