•Manually updating Salesforce orders and products by matching daily orders to Opportunities based on external reports from Manufactures - a slow, error-prone process

•Finance team manually entered customer and invoice data into QuickBooks, with no visibility back into Salesforce once payments were made - leading to delays, errors, and disconnected reporting

•Opportunity records held Quote, Order and invoicing fields/processes and required manual updates with  disconnected steps, slowing down sales operations and creating room for errors

•Custom Order and Product objects that limited reporting, automation, and scalability across their sales operations

Solution

•Integrated Boomi to automate order intake, syncing external orders to Salesforce and updating related records

•Automated the full Opportunity, Quote, Order, Invoice flow within Salesforce, linking Opportunities to various objects with streamlined handoffs and status tracking

•Integrated Conga Composer with Salesforce to generate Quotes more effectively

•Implemented a bi-directional Boomi integration to automatically create QuickBooks accounts and invoices from Salesforce, and sync payment status back into Salesforce in near real-time

•Migrated HiReli to standard Salesforce Order, Order Product, Product, and Price Book objects to unlock native capabilities and simplify future enhancements

•Eliminated manual effort for daily manufacturing updates, improved accuracy of delivery, and promised dates, and enabled real-time visibility across sales and fulfillment

•Streamlined quote-to-order workflows, reduced manual configuration, and improved pricing and order accuracy - accelerating sales cycles and driving more predictable revenue
