Eigen X Federal adds a 30-year government contracting growth executive to lead the firm's Washington, DC practice, deepening its commitment to the federal marketplace.


Washington, DC, August 26, 2026 – Eigen X is pleased to announce that Michael Polmar has joined Eigen X Federal as Practice Leader, based in the firm's McLean, VA office. In this role, Polmar will lead growth, client engagement, and delivery for Eigen X Federal, building on the firm’s presence in the DC technology and government contracting community.

Michael Polmar joins Eigen X Federal with more than 30 years of experience in business development, growth strategy, and operational leadership across the defense and intelligence community.  His expertise in business development and operational excellence has driven significant shareholder value in public companies such as AT&T Government Solutions, ManTech International and SAIC, as well as private equity and founder led firms.

Prior to joining Eigen X, Michael was Chief Growth Officer at Tyto Athene, a mid-tier firm specializing in communications, IT, and cyber security. Prior to that, he held executive positions at Bart & Associates, PCI Federal, and Vencore (now part of Peraton). He has also driven and supported numerous M&A transactions to include B&A's recent recapitalization and Vencore's acquisition of QinetiQ NA. Michael started his career as a scientist working in the areas of submarine technology development and satellite communications.
